In 1998, SNO won and secured this project via a Request for Proposal (RFP) from Citibank. Its design is a landmark bridge to provide pedestrians with an overhead crossing over the busy Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah.

The bridge is located opposite Menara Penang Garden which houses Citibank. Suspended from a height of 4.6m and anchored to the ground footings, the bridge is held together by suspension cables connected to the walkway via the support from two main butterfly arches.

Completed in 2000, the bridge was officially opened to the public via a signing ceremony between Citibank and the local council. Besides, it has been a popular tourist spot for photo shoots since.
