Ar. Yheu-Shen Chua
School of Architecture
Yheu-Shen leads the office of Future Frameworks and serves as a Director for SNO Architects. He is known for his work in innovating intelligent buildings. This has led to series of awards and competition wins, notably awards from Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM), PAM–DBKL Architecture Award and PAM TS Chan Sau Lai Architecture Award. He was also selected by Design + Architecture (D+A) Magazine to be Southeast Asia’s Emerging Architect for 2019.
During his 10 years tenure living in London, he became one of the youngest Chartered UK Architects and corporate member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). A scholarship recipient trained at the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture, he was headhunted at an early age of 20 by Foster and Partners London. There, he spearheaded a R&D group, working closely with Senior Partners at the firm. He then joined Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) London from 2012-2017 taking charge in some of the firm’s key portfolio. He together with the KPF design team was also tasked to design Malaysia’s next tallest tower for KLCC Holdings. With a passion in education, he has also taught at the AA and University of Malaya.
