Ar Jonathan Yap is a Corporate Member at Pertubuhan Akitek Malaysia. He started his career as a Graduate Architect at Atee Architect in 1993 before joining Michael Ong Chartered Architect (MOCA) in 1995. He subsequently joined SNO Architects Sdn Bhd from the date of the company’s incorporation in 1997.

He is skilled in contract administration and people management, and he has successfully managed and completed large prestigious projects such as the Palace of the Golden Horses (under MOCA), Putrajaya Government Public institutions of Parcel E (blocks E2 and E4/5) and recently, Parcel F (blocks F5, F6, F7 and F11).

Of notable mention is block E4/5, or the Low Energy office building (LEO), which marks his first experience in Green Building designs and implementation. Coupled with this exposure to Green and Sustainable building designs, he has continued to successfully complete Parcel F which has a Gold Green Building Index certification.
